Boy, oh boy, this is so exciting! I’ve been dying to show this off so I’m going to spare you all on the long introduction and just get straight to it.
With great pleasure, I can now reveal my brand new logo!
Ta-DA!
Isn’t she stupid cute? I love her so much! Her name is Baby…because she’s my baby. This logo was created by the incredibly talented artist Gabriela G.R. All of her links will be listed below.
To no one’s surprise, after seeing my Baby, I fell in love and now want more and more and more…and more. So, I got more. This is only the start.
Not only will Baby be my logo, she’s also going to be that adorably cute face you see every time you click on my website. Baby is incredibly friendly and greets everyone with a cute smile on her face. Don’t believe me? Here.
See that wave? She’s so happy to see you.
And of course, she has to say goodbye once you’re done reading. Baby has manners. I’m such a proud mom.
Isn’t she a sweetheart? Urgh, I love her so much.

Okay, let’s get serious. My website has undergone quite a few changes these last few months – changes you’re now seeing. There is still some work to be done, but most of the bigger appearance changes are now complete. I knew going into the new year, I needed to get a new look. I needed a new logo and more importantly, a mascot. Something that repeats all over my website and connects the two aspects of it. It was a tall order but while editing one of the blogs for my pure chaos week, it just clicked.
Thank you so much for reading and I will see you in a click!
This little catchphrase started very early on in my website journey and it’s perfect. It just works. It works at the end of blogs. It works at the end of any Writing Corner content I might put out. It’s that connecting piece. So, I knew I had to find something that works with that line. I just stared at the catchphrase and my brain filled in the pieces.
Thank you so much for reading – reading = book, someone reading.
and I will see you in a click – click = computer mouse
And that is how the idea of Baby was born! I then attempted to draw something myself, quickly realized Baby needs a professional hand and turned to Sketchmob. There I contacted a few artists who I thought could do the job and waited. It was a process of elimination with rough sketches to find THE artist. The second Gabriela send her rough sketches, I fell in love.
She was on the same wavelength as me and it was quite clear that she would be the creator of Baby. She was able to draw something I had in my mind with minimal help from me. Seriously, I was just like: “make it cute”. That’s all I had. I truly love her work so much. She is beyond talented and I can’t wait to see Baby come to life in more poses.
I hope you come to love Baby as much as I love her.
Thank you for all the love and support. With this blog, we officially end our first Pure Chaos week. How was it? Did I fulfill my promise with my spam-like content? Our next pure chaos week will only start on the 30th of March. I already feel like pure chaos needs a small tweak but I want to see how the next pure chaos week will go before I make any changes. I hope to still have you around by then.
I will see you tomorrow with our first Dear Diary entry.
With much love,
Cassy

Here are all of Gabriela details! Tell her Cassy send you if you order anything from her. You might have to wait for a bit because I already have ten other mouses scheduled with her. Oops. I might be addicted. All jokes aside, Gabriela is a breeze to work with. She is quick to deliver, always sends you a rough sketch and the piece in all its different stages for approval. You will feel incredibly included in the process which makes you love the end result even more. I’m incredibly happy with her hence why I keep going back. I can’t recommend her enough.

PS It felt so wrong not to end the blog with the normal line but I felt like I couldn’t repeat it for the third time in such a short blog…no worries. You will see it again tomorrow.
that is absolutely daring and a great choice –
Haha thank you! Í’m happy you love her too!
